Skinny Vs. Wide
Two major jean trends right now: Skinny jeans, and wide jeans.
The Skinny Jean:
More popular than the wide jean at the moment, the skinny jean is big right now. Celebs wearing skinnies are all over the tabloids and skinnies are being sold in many stores. Skinny jeans are coming in a variety of colors now. My favorites being the abnormal, yellow, red, purple. Also, a trend that came along with the skinny jean is gray jeans. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of gray jeans, but hey, people can like what they like.
The Wide Jean:
I'm pretty darn happy with the wide jean. I have yet to buy my first pair but I'm looking forward to it. I don't think these will ever be as big (no pun intended) as the skinny jean, simply because they're different. Some people could argue that the wide jean is just a jean with a humongous (sp) flare. But if you look, its really not. I've never really liked flare jeans, but I love wide jeans. These jeans definatley aren't popping up in stores like skinnies are, but they are there. Check in UO, Delia's, and Shopbop and you'll find wide jeans.

i love how you can find them just about anywhere so no matter your economic standing you can afford to buy them and look chic!

they look so great with heels and a cropped jacket.
I love both the skinny and the wide- just not in extremes. You dont want your jeans suctioned to your legs but you also dont want to look like you are swimming in them either. Both styles can be flatter just depends on your body type! I really love the skinny jean tho- its so sexy-i just bought a pair by this new brand called House de Lux and they are so chic!! Skinny jeans <3
